കല്‍പേനി- ദ്വീപിലെ വിദ്യാസമ്പന്നരായ യുവാക്കളുടെ കൂട്ടാഴ്മയും ക്രിക്കറ്റില്‍ കല്‍പേനിയിലെ കഴിഞ്ഞ അഞ്ച് വര്‍ഷത്തെ ജേതാക്കളുമായ കല്‍പനൈറ്റ് യുണൈറ്റഡ് ലക്ഷദ്വീപിലെ പുരോഗമപരമായ മാറ്റത്തിന്റെ ഭാഗവാക്കാകുകയാണ്. ഇതിന്റെ ആദ്യപടിയെന്നോണം ലക്ഷദ്വീപിന്റ ജനങ്ങളുടെ ഏറ്റവും വലിയ പ്രശ്നമായ ഗതാഗതമേഖലയിലെ പ്രതിസന്ധികള്‍ക്ക് ഒരു പരിഹാരമായി ആ മേഘലയുടെ വികസനത്തെക്കുറിച്ച് ഒരു കരട് രേഖ ലക്ഷദ്വീപ് അഡ്മിനിസ്ട്രേഷനും ലക്ഷദ്വീപ് എം.പി ക്കും സമര്‍പ്പിക്കാനൊരുങ്ങുകയാണ്. പ്രോഗ്രാം ചാര്‍ട്ടും രൂപ രേഖയും പൊതുജന അഭിപ്രായത്തിനായി നല്‍കുകയാണ്. തങ്ങളുടെ രൂപ രേഖ എല്ലാ ദ്വീപുകാര്‍ക്കും ഒരു പോലെ ഉപകാരപ്രദമാകുമെന്ന് പ്രസിഡന്റ് സാദുദ്ധീന്‍ അഭിപ്രായപ്പെട്ടു. കല്‍പനൈറ്റ് യുണൈറ്റഡ് ഒരുക്കുന്ന പൊതു സദസ്സില്‍ വെച്ച് രൂപരേഖ ലക്ഷദ്വീപ് എം.പി മുഹമ്മദ് ഫൈസലിന് സമര്‍പ്പിക്കാനൊരുങ്ങുകയാണ് കല്‍പനയുണൈറ്റഡ്. പരിപാടിയില്‍ പങ്കെടുക്കാമെന്ന് എം.പി ഉറപ്പ് നല്‍കിയതായി ക്ലബ്ബ് ഭാവരാഹികള്‍ അറിയിച്ചു. പൊതു ജനങ്ങളുടെ കൂടി അഭിപ്രായത്തിലൂടെയാണ് കരട് രേഖ എം.പിക്ക് സമര്‍പ്പിക്കുക. രൂപരേഖയുടെ പൂര്‍ണ്ണരൂപം ഈ മാസം 20 ന് മുമ്പ് ഇന്റര്‍നെറ്റിലൂടെ ലഭ്യമാക്കുമെന്നും ഭാരവാഹികള്‍ ദ്വീപ് ഡയറിയോട് പറഞ്ഞു.

കല്‍പന യുണൈറ്റഡിന്റെ LAKALPRO ഷെഡ്യൂളില്‍ 10 ദ്വീപുകളെ രണ്ട് കാറ്റഗറിയായി തിരിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു 1.ഗ്രൂപ്പ് A ദ്വീപുകള്‍:- വെസ്സല്‍ കണക്ടിവിറ്റി സാധ്യമായ മിനിക്കോയി ഒഴികെയുള്ള എല്ലാ ദ്വീപുകളും 2.ഗ്രൂപ്പ് B ദ്വീപുകള്‍:- വെസ്സല്‍ കണക്ടിവിറ്റി സാധ്യമല്ലാത്ത മിനിക്കോയി ദ്വീപ് ഗ്രൂപ്പ് A യില്‍ മെയിന്‍ ഹബ്ബ് കവരത്തിയാക്കി കപ്പല്‍ മുഖേന കൊച്ചിയിമായി ദിവസവും ബന്ധപ്പെടുത്തുന്നു. ഇങ്ങനെ കവരത്തിയില്‍ എത്തുന്ന യാത്രക്കാരെ വെസ്സല്‍ മുഖാന്തിരം ദ്വീപുകളില്‍ എത്തിക്കുന്നു. ഇതേ വെസ്സല്‍ മുഖാന്തിരം കൊച്ചിയിലേക്കുള്ള യാത്രക്കാരെ കവരത്തിയില്‍ എത്തിച്ച് അതേ കപ്പലില്‍ കൊച്ചിയില്‍ എത്തിക്കുന്നു.
ഉദാഹരണത്തിന് കൊച്ചിയില്‍ നിന്നും ബിത്രയിലേക്ക് മെയിന്‍ ഹബ്ബായ കവരത്തിവഴി ഒരു ടിക്കറ്റില്‍ ലക്ഷ്യത്തിലെത്താം.
ഗ്രൂപ്പ് B യില്‍ വെസ്സല്‍ കണക്ടിവിറ്റി ഇല്ലാത്ത മിനിക്കോയി ദ്വീപിനെ തൊട്ടടുത്ത ദ്വീപായ കല്‍പേനി ഉള്‍പ്പെടുത്തി കപ്പല്‍ ഗതാഗതം വഴി കൊച്ചിയുമായി ദിവസവും ബന്ധപ്പെടുത്തുന്നതിനാല്‍ മറ്റ് ദ്വീപുകളുമായുള്ള കണക്ടിവിറ്റിയും മിനിക്കോയി ദ്വീപിന് സാധ്യമാകുന്നു.
കപ്പല്‍ ഗതാഗതം മൂലം കൊച്ചിയുമായി നേരിട്ട് ബന്ധമില്ലാത്ത ദ്വീപുകളിലേക്കുള്ള കാര്‍ഗോ ആഴ്ചയില്‍ രണ്ട്തവണ ആ ദ്വീപുകളെ നേരിട്ട് കപ്പല്‍ ഗതാഗതം വഴി ബന്ധിപ്പിക്കുകവഴി സാധ്യമാകുന്നു.
ദിവസേനയുള്ള (Daily) കണക്ടിവിറ്റി അടിസ്ഥാനമാക്കിയുള്ള LAKALPRO എന്ന ഈ ഷെഡ്യൂള്‍ നിലവിലുള്ള കപ്പലുകളും വെസ്സലുകളും ഉപയോഗിച്ച് സുഗമമായി നടപ്പിലാക്കാവുന്നതാണ്.

Kavaratti As main Hub A ship leaves for Kavaratti every day. Carrying all Pax for Group A Islands and cargoes for KVT. Passengers can reach their destinations by next day afternoon. High Speed Crafts can bring Pax to their destinations. HSC s can also bring Pax to Cochin from Group A islands on the same evening to kavaratti. Ship reached KVT can wait till evening and sail back to COK on the same day with pax from group A Islands.
For Group B
Day 1: A Ship leaves for MCY and KLP. Carry PAX and cargoes to MCY and KLP. Ship reaching MCY in the morning can cover KLP on the same day evening (forget the current practice of staying a whole day in MCY even though KLP is within 6 hrs reach) It sail back to COK and reaches next day (Day 2) morning.
Day 2: A Ship Leaves for KLP and MCY. Ship proceeds opposite to the DAY 1 schedule.
CARGO MOVEMENTS For GROUP A
A Ship exclusively deployed to carry cargoes to Group A islands except KLP can plies twice a week. These two schedules will carry cargoes to those islands not regular PAX. PAX tickets can be issued for sports and other passengers at a higher rate on demand.
